IOA Honorees for 2026

Every 3-years the IOA honors individuals who have embodied the true spirit of leadership, service and compassion in the field of ostomy care. This is done through the vesting of the Archie Vinitsky Award, Professional Services Award (Harikesh Buch Award) and the 20/40 Young Adult Award (Linda Aukett Award) to deserving individuals who have tirelessly served people in their designated capacity.

It is the absolute privilege of the IOA representatives to celebrate the outstanding service of Richard Mcnair and Ida Edblom as recipient of awards for 2026.

For this year the EOA has nominated a young ostomate adult from Denmark who has represented the young people of Copenhagesn and the Danish Ostomy Association

The awards will be presented in Bogor, Indonesia during the ASPOA conference on November 7 – 8, 2026.
