The International Ostomy Association Coordination Committee (IOA CC), an association of Regional Ostomy Associations, is committed to the improvement of the quality of life of Ostomates and those with related surgeries, worldwide.
It provides to its member associations, information and management guidelines, helps to form new to my associations, and advocates on all related matters and policies.
It is organized to grow and develop while remaining independent and financially viable.

Recently the IOA Coordination Committee met with Industry members(Coloplast, Hollister and ConvaTec) in Gothenburg at the WCET Congress.
The outcomes from this meeting were to have the regions and IOA CC submit projects for consideration of support for the 2015 year.
This has been done and other support was offered for World Ostomy Day which will be Saturday October the 3rd 2015.
The theme for WOD 2015 will be” Many stories, one voice.”

Thomas Nylund, new president of NORILCO is with Arne Holte who is the Archie Vinitsky 2014 Awardee. The award was presented at the EOA Congress in Krakow, Poland by Ken Aukett and was received on Arne's behalf.
