Archie Vinitsky Awardees for 2023

 

It is given to a person who has the most outstanding voluntary service at the international and/or regional level in support of the activities of the IOA. The Award is presented every three years at a Conference of an IOA Full Member association.

The Archie Vinitsky Award, an esteemed recognition in the field of ostomy care, was established to honor of outstanding contributions of people who uplifted the quality of life for people living with a colostomy bag..

In the recent Asia and South Pacific Ostomy Association (ASPOA) conference held in Singapore, Dr. Harikesh Buch, and Ria Smeijers were recognized for their outstanding contributions and work for ostomy advocacy.

The Archie Vinitsky Award continues to celebrate and encourage such trailblazing individuals who are dedicated to promote ostomy advocacy for ostomates around the world..

Likewise, Dr. Fernando Soria was adjudged as the recipient of the HB Professional Services Award.
