Chairperson’s Message (09/10/2022)

Richard McNair

The main thing that I wanted to mention in this message is that we have a new website. The old one was very outdated and needed a replacement desperately. With the good offices of the EOA, ASPOA and the OAA we obtained the funding for this and webmaster Ronaldo Lora has sourced a web designer to undertake this task. The hard job with any web site is to keep t updated and we can only put on the information that we are given soplease, secretaries, event organisers let us have the updates for your associations so that we can do this.

On other matters, Covid has caused many problems around the world and this has also impacted on many associations ability to do their work in their normal fashion. Some have resorted to using technology such as Zoom in order to hold meetings and keep in touch with members which is great but nothing beats a good face to face meeting.

The ASPOA Conference has been planned for Singapore in August 2023 which is a great place to hold it and details will come out in due course.

Chairperson
